This years recipients of the Dudley R. Herschbach Award are Professor Daniel M. Neumark of University of California at Berkeley and Professor Donald Truhlar of the University of Minnesota.

The Dudley R. Herschbach Award award was initiated at the 2007 DMC Meeting. This award will be given to two recipients at each DMC meeting, a Theortician and an Experimentalist, thereby reflecting the nature of the DMC meeting. The Award/ Banquet will be held on Thursday evening.

The recipient of the award will be chosen by a committee consisting of the Chairman, vice Chairman and the previous three Chariman of the DMC meeting.
