Please call 1-800-453-3000 (press option 2 when prompted) or email: lodging@snowbird.com to book lodging at Snowbird. Mention you are with the DMC 2011 group. For single occupants, there will be a deposit of $199 and for double occupants, there will be a $139 deposit for each person.
If you book before June 10, 2011 – the special package rate for all 5 nights (Sunday evening through Friday noon):
- $999 – single occupancy - includes all meals.
- $699 - per person – multiple occupancy – includes all meals.
We have reserved what we think will be a sufficient number of rooms, but this is a necessarily cautious lower limit since we are charged if we overbook and don’t fill rooms, is always hard to estimate this accurately. Our best advice is that you are encouraged to make your reservation and registration payment early.
Want to stay longer? Additional nights will be available at a a rate of $114 single and $124 double for up to three days at this rate and based on availability.
The deadline for our special rate is June 10, 2011 which is when Snowbird will release any unused rooms back into their general availability.
The costs of the meeting will be in terms of a conference registration fee and lodging.There is a special early registration fee of $250 if before May 15, 2011, or a “non-early” fee of $300 up till June 15, 2011. This needs to be paid via the website using PayPal. You should go to the registration page to make these arrangements.
The lodging reservation and payment is to be handled directly though Snowbird.

From personal experience (djn) at the 2009 meeting, the Cliff spa is really spectacular, with a heated outside pool on the top floor of the complex and with a 360 degree view of the mountains in all their splendor – a great place to relax after an afternoon hike!
